I call it “Conservation Music”.
I am using sounds of whales and dolphins which are recorded during numerous cetaceans research expedition I’ve been part of. Creating music , speaking about cetaceans conservation, showing videos, and playing sounds of cetaceans. All sounds and videos are authentic recorded by me or by the crew of expeditions I’ve been in. No stock footage videos or sounds.

EU PARLIAMENT PERFORMANCE
In March 2026 we were performing at Climate Pact Conference in Europen Union Parliament in Brussels, Belgium. As a duo we played whole program, showed video visuals with cetaceans and from our expeditions. Also we spoke about whales & dolphins conservation and Ocean.
FULL BAND CONCERT IN ITALY
In 2025 in Giovinazzo/Italy I was doing live show with the full band. 5 piece band playing Jazz/Fusion style music. The first half of the show I did presentation about cetaceans and threats to them, and second part we played improvised show together with the sounds of dolphins and whales.

Risso’s Dolphins Expedition
In 2025 we went to Turkish Island of Gokceada to study Risso’s dolphins. It’s was one of the most challenging expeditions, but at the end we made it!
Discovery Of Rough Toothed Dolphins
In 2024 by lucky coincidence we discovered new species in Turkish waters. Never seen before, it’s a big achievement, because after that we released scientific pare and these species were added to the list of cetaceans in Turkey.
Observer Training
That was Mara’s first ever dolphin research expedition. We were in Mediterranean sea in France. That’s how the training to becoming observer is happening.
GRINDADRAP
Grindadrap
Every year around 1000 of Pilot Whales and White Sided Dolphins are killed during Grindadrap. This unsustainable and brutal tradition in Faroe Island must become obsolete.
I compose and recorded this song as way to protest and also inform the people about this terrible tradition. You can hear sounds of the pilot whales in this song. I recorded them myself during an acoustic research in Tenerife. And later created music with their sounds.

Visit Faroe Islands
After I released “Grindadrap” music video I got contacted by “Captain Paul Watson Foundation UK” which invited me to volunteer for them and document for real this brutal tradition
